Garment longevity is always foremost in our thinking. Our desire to create long-lasting clothes with lasting appeal informs our design philosophy and fabric curation, our pattern-making, detailing and construction, and our approach to care and repair.

Expressed as easy-to-follow DOs and DON’Ts, the care instructions below aim to maximise the useful life of the fabric, and thus your enjoyment of the garments from which they’re made.

Laundry products

We advise against using fabric softeners or conditioners, as they can impair the breathability and moisture absorbing qualities inherent in natural fibres. We also encourage you to consider using an environmentally friendly detergent and, should dry cleaning be required, to choose a 'green' dry cleaner.

Repairs and advice

We maintain a fabric archive. If your Frske garment is damaged, or you wish to test a stain removal treatment, just contact us. We’ll gladly send you a swatch of the relevant fabric, free of charge.
